In the third quarter of 2024, the iOS platform in Portugal saw notable activity among fish-themed games. According to data from Sensor Tower, these applications experienced varied trends in weekly downloads, revenue, and active users.

Fishdom from Playrix maintained a strong presence, with weekly revenue peaking at approximately $4.7K by the end of September. The game faced a decline in weekly downloads, starting from over 2.1K in early July to around 1K by the end of the quarter. However, weekly active users remained relatively stable, fluctuating between 8.2K and 10.1K.

Fishdom Solitaire, also from Playrix, exhibited modest revenue across the quarter, with the highest weekly revenue of around $330 in mid-August. Downloads were minimal, peaking at 56 in early August, while active users hovered around 1.7K to 2.2K.

Hungry Shark Evolution by Ubisoft saw a varied performance. The game’s revenue was steady, reaching a high of $265 in July. Downloads fluctuated, peaking at 461 in mid-August, while active users ranged from 1.7K to 2.3K, showing a slight decline towards the end of the quarter.

Lastly, Octopus Feast from Rollic Games, a newer entrant, showed promising revenue growth, reaching up to $168 in late August. Downloads decreased over the quarter, from 233 in early August to 94 by September’s end. Active users remained relatively small but steady, fluctuating between 180 and 274.
